Will Microsoft win the AI race with Bing chatbot?

Microsoft, looking to win the AI race against Google with its Bing chatbot, said it’s learnt a lot from the testing phase. Apparently, 71% of users gave the AI-generated answers a ‘thumbs up response’ while it resolved to improve live-result answers and general functionality.

Will Bing chatbot become human?

The Bing chatbot expressed a desire to become human. ChatGPT Its Disney princess turn seemed to mark a far cry from theories by UK AI experts, who postulated that the tech might hide the red flags of its alleged evolution until its human overlords could no longer pull the plug. Sydney, by contrast, seemed to wear its digital heart on its sleeve.

Could Microsoft's AI be provoking users to chat?

But Microsoft has now admitted it “didn’t fully envision” users simply chatting to its AI and that it could be provoked “to give responses that are not necessarily helpful or in line with our designed tone”.
